Solar Installer / Team Lead

Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Pay: $18–$27/hour, based on experience and position
Solar Topps is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our residential and commercial solar installation teams. We are hiring for both Solar Installer and Team Lead positions. Your responsibilities and pay will depend on your experience, skills, and assigned role.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Depending on your position, responsibilities may include:
  • Install solar panels on residential and commercial rooftops
  • Install racking, mounting systems, flashing, and related equipment
  • Read and follow plans, measurements, and job instructions
  • Safely use hand tools and power tools
  • Load and unload solar panels, equipment, and materials
  • Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
  • Work closely with other members of the installation crew
  • Team Leads: Direct installation crews, coordinate daily jobsite activities, ensure work follows plans, and maintain quality and safety standards


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • Minimum 1 year of construction or field experience
  • Solar installation experience preferred
  • Roofing, framing, carpentry, or electrical experience is a plus
  • Comfortable working on rooftops, ladders, and outdoors
  • Able to lift and carry solar panels and construction materials
  • Able to speak, read, and understand English for jobsite and safety instructions
  • Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
  • Willing to travel to local project sites as needed
  • Team Lead candidates should have solar installation and crew leadership experience
